Santa Paula High School hosted the annual Homecoming Parade Highlighting Joe’s World Tour through India, Latin America, Samoa and the United States. On Friday the Santa Paula High School Homecoming Parade took place Main Street to showcase “Joe’s World Tour”
Each of the classes (seniors, juniors, sophomores and freshmen) chose a different part of the world to highlight through elaborate props and dances specific to the regions of India, Latin America, Samoa and the United States. Above (top photo), the seniors at Santa Paula High School perform at halftime (photo by Diana Ramos). The seniors represented their area, India. The seniors were the overall winners for the 2012 Homecoming activities.
Homecoming activities occurred all week long, ending with a 39-13 victory over Santa Clara High School Friday evening. Above (bottom photo), teacher Alex Flores, Grand Marshal for the 2012 Homecoming, drives a restored Ford 851 Powermaster Tractor down Main Street during the Homecoming Parade last Friday.
