The Optimist Club of Santa Paula invites all 4^th to 12^th grade students to participate in its annual essay contest.

This year’s topic is entitled “How Can I Help My Friends Realize Their Value?” Awards and cash prizes will be given for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winners.

The deadline for submitting essays is Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Essay contest rules are on the application forms, which are available at Blanchard Community Library, the Santa Paula Times, and at all schools in the elementary and high school districts. You may call Angela Borrego-Chavez at 933-1541 for applications or questions regarding the essay contest. Sorry, past winners are not eligible to enter.
