The couple met through mutual friends in June 2010, and were engaged a year later when Jeff proposed to Erin on July 20, 2011 on stage at the Citrus Classic Balloon Festival with friends and family. Their wedding ceremony will be held on July 7, 2012 at St. Sebastian Church, with a reception following at the Glen Tavern Inn.

Erin L. Hicks and Jeffrey Teague are announcing their engagement to be married in July. Erin is the daughter of Tim and Cathy Hicks of Santa Paula. Jeffrey is the son of Michael Teague and the late Linda Teague of Sherman Oaks.
Erin Hicks is a 1999 graduate of Santa Paula High School. She graduated from Cal State Sacramento in 2004 with a BA in Political Science and Communication Studies, and is currently a student at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles.
Jeffrey Teague graduated from Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks in 1996. He got his BA in Economics from Occidental College in 2000, and graduated with his MBA from Cal State University, Northridge in 2004. He currently works for Bank of America as a vice president of production reporting.
