Boys and Girls Club kicks off its’ speaker of the week program

The Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clara Valley Harvard site kicked off its speaker of the week program on Thursday January 20th. The club welcomed Ventura County Senior Deputy District Attorney Gilbert Romero as the inaugural speaker. Mr. Romero touched on a number of subjects during his 30 minute speech to club members including his personal career path and members need to make good choices in their everyday life.” I liked Mr. Romero, he was cool and interesting” said Harvard club member Ivonne Galindo. The club will continue to welcome speakers of various occupations as an effort to inspire members to reach for their goals.
