Lady Cards now 5-1 after win Thursday over Malibu

The Lady Cardinal, varsity softball team shut down Malibu last week, 8-0, giving them their first league victory.
Freshman pitcher Miranda Magaña threw a no-hitter against the visiting Sharks. She also scored one of the runs early in the game. Santa Paula brought in 7 runs in the second inning and 1 run in the fifth inning. Kelsey Brock and Ashley Cerda each had 1 hit, 1 run and 2 RBIs.
The girls play at home against Carpinteria tomorrow in another Pacific View Tournament game. Friday the JV girls hosts Moorpark.
