CMHS Now Offers Free Monthly Classes for Pre-diabetes Patients

Community Memorial Health System is offering free monthly classes for patients diagnosed with either pre-diabetes or metabolic syndrome, a disorder that increases the risk of developing cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

The classes, sponsored by CMHS’s DiabetesAware program, are held the first Thursday of each month, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., at CMHS’s Training Center at 2809 Main St., Suite B, in Ventura.

Community Memorial Health System is a not-for-profit health system, which is comprised of Community Memorial Hospital, Ojai Valley Community Hospital, and nine family-practice health centers entitled the Centers for Family Health.  The health system is located in Ventura County, California.
