The Ventura County Astronomical Society (VCAS) will hold its monthly membership meeting on Friday, May 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at Mesa Union School, 3901 Mesa School Road in Somis.

The Ventura County Astronomical Society (VCAS) will hold its monthly membership meeting on Friday, May 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at Mesa Union School, 3901 Mesa School Road in Somis. David F. Coppedge will be speaking on “Cassini Saturn Discoveries.”
David F. Coppedge is a systems administrator for the Cassini Mission to Saturn and Titan at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. A member of the Cassini team since before launch in October 1997, he has witnessed the entire mission. David will share the greatest hits from the biggest and best interplanetary mission in NASA and the European Space Agency history, a triumph of international cooperation.
