"I also want to give ARP (Automotive Racing Products) a special thank you," said Mount. "ARP made a very generous donation so all the children in the community can enjoy receiving their own Easter egg or candy," a gift they will remember for years to come.ARP has "also been generous" in donating to a variety of other city sponsored programs noted Mount.Santa Paula Elementary School District also deserves kudos for allowing the Easter and Earth Day Celebration on the Glen City School campus, he added."We're still seeking donations of candy" or cash "to be able to provide more for the kids," said Mount. "Last year we had over 800 children and this year we're expecting even more..."Mayor Ray Luna asked about the history of the celebration and Mount said that the Easter Egg Hunt had been ongoing for decades but that 22 years ago it was partnered with the Earth Day Celebration."I want to thank you and the contributors," to the celebration noted Luna."You do an incredible job," Vice Mayor John Procter told Mount. "All the work you do" for the community "is great."
